Lorna Lily Saxbee
Lorna’s reaction to becoming a mother was,
‘To put it mildly, I was simply terrified & completely unprepared.’
This drove Lorna into her frenzied quest of research and discovery, driven to learn everything she needed to know in order to raise healthy happy children.
Now, after 9 years of research, many generous tips from other parents around the world and with two happy, healthy kids under her belt, Lorna is ready & keen to support other parents by sharing what she has learnt.
‘I have created the series ‘FeedingKids.TV’ as a medium to pass on my discoveries & created this website as a special place for parents to give support one another.’
Lorna is a graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Degree in Dramatic Arts, and has also attended NIDA, New England and Sturt completing various writing, production and directing courses.
With 20 years experience in Film, TV and Theatre and having undergone the parenting journey, she is well equipped for this role. Though Lorna’s experience is valuable she wants to make it clear that all advice and opinions given are from the horses mouth so to speak. Lorna is not a medical professional and would urge all parents making changes to their food and health regime to please seek medical advice and guidance as well.
Currently Lorna is also running a Drama Studio for children called ‘Live with Heart’ in an effort to combat bullying in schools by promoting empathy and egalitarianism in children. Raphael, Aurora and most of the other child cast members of Feeding Kids Tv have attended her drama studio.
Aurora and Raphael
Part of our permanent cast, Aurora and Raphael are regulars appearing in every episode. They will be part of the busy action which takes place in an average family, on a typically hectic afternoon around meal times.
Guest Children In Each Episode
Each episode will feature a new guest child and a different recipe for a healthy kids meal. This keeps the presenter challenged with a different personality to get to know and unknown food preferences to overcome, showing first-hand how her healthy recipes for children, full of real food, really do get eaten.
